Paper craft artist Owen Gildersleeve was commissioned by Here Design in London to collaborate on artwork for renowned whiskey brand Balvenie’s latest Flavors campaign. Balvenie is considered “the most hand-crafted of single malts”, thanks to natural alchemy and centuries-old craftsmanship.

For their campaign, Owen built and directed the creative for a series of layered paper sets in which to house a range of Balvenie bottles. Owen conveyed the flavor profiles of the whiskey in each set then added some special lighting to add that ‘honey’ glow.

Owen’s shots and motion, captured by photographer Mitch Payne, were later used as references for a series of animations by Paris based Parallel Studio. They recreated the sets, pushing the boundaries of papercraft possibility, with the elements growing infront of your eyes.
